I grew up as a Fine Artist, and in my early adulthood, I specialized in digital design, by exposure and passion for Graphic Design. After I was introduced to SCAD, I knew that my potential to excel in a dedicated learning environment for creatives would be realized. SCAD offered me a fully creative, involved, rigorous, dedicated private education in a rigorous, creative setting. Through my education, I was highly involved in demanding projects which spanned several weeks, from ideation to completion and launch. I had the opportunity to enjoy hands-on studio experience in state of the art facilities that prepared me for my career. I moved to the big apple, NYC, to begin a career with Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness where I supported an initiative called Women, Wellness & Technology, where we reviewed trends intersecting health for women and technology. At NYRR, I promoted the TCS NYC Marathon in Times Square ( 01:35), along with other events. I have since then worked at large companies like Citibank and Verizon, where I’ve worked in cross-functional environments in collaboration with various team members like business representatives and developers. Such endeavors include a design rollout for CCB Gateway, the hallway to the doors of financial tasks, owning the design for Bridge, a VC-backed lending platform that spun out as an independent entity, online advertising for Verizon devices in stores nationally, and collaborated with a design partner to brainstorm, iterate, wireframe and conduct user testing for landing page options for the Verizon Privacy Dashboard’s new landing page.
