By the use of proper tools, creativity, perseverance, & a distinct vision, a designer can accomplish any feat. Bibiana, a Colombian Graphic Designer, believes in that statement. While completing high school in Canada, she found the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD, an award-winning private accredited institution). At that university in Atlanta, she completed a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography. She served as the Lead Graphic Design Coordinator for Georgia Close Up, an organization dedicated to educating young citizens on public policy. Since 2013, she’s been featured in several events, like the SCAD Foundations show and the Open Studio exhibition by the Photography Department of SCAD Atlanta. In the fall of 2016, Bibiana relocated to the NYC area to work for Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness as a Graphic Designer, raising awareness about Women’s contributions to technology, among other pharmaceutical endeavours.
When it comes to her work, her weapons of choice are Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC for photo manipulations, compositing and editing. Her next weapon is then Adobe Illustrator for vector designs. One of her new favorite programs is After Effects, which she uses to bring designs to life. When she is not designing, she draws, paints, and can be seen on the tennis court.
